Common Questions
Everything you need to know about our guided walks along Prague's Vltava riverside
Most of our routes take between 90 minutes and 2.5 hours, depending on which walk you choose. We build in regular stops at scenic viewpoints and riverside cafés, so you're never rushing. The pace is deliberately comfortable — we're here to enjoy Prague's riverside, not race through it.
Absolutely. Our walks are designed for comfortable, leisurely pacing — not endurance tests. We have routes ranging from very gentle (like the Kampa Island Loop) to moderate. On every walk, you set your own pace, and we're happy to take breaks whenever you need them. Most of our participants are in their 60s and 70s, so the groups move at a realistic, enjoyable speed.
We don't cancel for light rain — Prague looks beautiful in all weather, and waterproof gear works fine. For severe weather (heavy rain, storms, ice), we'll reschedule your walk to another date at no extra cost. We always check the forecast in advance and give you a heads-up if conditions look tricky.
Yes — our guides share stories about the landmarks and neighborhoods you're passing through. Whether it's the history of Charles Bridge, the stories behind Kampa Island, or details about the riverside ecology, you'll learn something new. It's conversational, not a lecture. If you'd rather just enjoy the scenery quietly, that's completely fine too.
Many of our regulars say that's the best part. You're walking with people who share similar interests, and the pace gives you time to actually chat. We often end walks with coffee or a light snack, so there's time to connect. It's a nice way to meet others in Prague who enjoy the outdoors.
Head to our contact page to check available dates and book. We run walks with just 2–3 people, so there's no pressure to find a large group. Private walks can also be arranged if you prefer. Just let us know what interests you, and we'll find the perfect route.
